Make sure to stop at The ART MECCA of Charleston as you stroll through Upper King Street's Design District during tonight's Fall Design Walk (October 24th from 5-8pm).
They will be serving wine and hors d'oeuvres as you peruse works of art by the following artists:
BRENDA GILLIAM: Gilliam takes simple moments in life that we all share, a music festival...a trip to the farmer's market... and breaks them into shapes of color, patterns, textures, and movement.
LLOYD MANDEL: Using found wood from the Charleston "urban forest" Lloyd enjoys creating both simple bowls for everyday use as well as more creative bowls which may be additionally carved and colored. His bowls are hand turned, carved, stained and lacquered and are food-safe.
CHRIS & CAMI PHOTOGRAPHY: A chance encounter brought photographers Chris and Cami together. With Cami's keen eye for color and composition and Chris's superior understanding of photographic technology, lighting and posing, the two make a perfect team.
The ART MECCA of Charleston is located at 427 King Street.
