ART MECCA of Charleston welcomes a never-before-seen collection by artist legend Peter Max with an Uncrating Party September 14 from 6:00-8:00 PM. The collection titled Peter Max A Retrospective 1960-2013 will be on exhibition and available for acquisition at the gallery through September 22.
Collectors note: If you purchase a work of art at the party or during Preview Week, September 14th-20, you will receive a FREE one-of-a-kind mixed media piece of artwork from Peter's Heart Series, valued at $2475. You'll also be first in line to have your piece signed by Max at his September 21 - 22nd appearance at the gallery.
Peter Max has assembled a collection of his greatest and most-revered imagery spanning four decades: from his iconic Pop Art designs commemorating Woodstock to the 2013 unveiling of Max’s design for the cruise ship Breakaway, this new exhibition speaks to the evolution and maturation of America’s most popular living Artist.
With paintings on exhibition in hundreds of museums and galleries worldwide, Peter Max and his vibrant colors have become part of the fabric of contemporary culture.
