Charleston's newest hit restaurant, Mex 1 Coastal Cantina, will host its premiere Cinco de Mayo party Sunday, May 5th from noon to 10:00 PM in West Ashley.
Located at 817 St. Andrews Blvd., Mex 1 will have live music outdoor behind the restaurant throughout the day and evening provided by two of Charleston's most popular groups, the Dubplates Reggae Riddim Band and the 5-piece Malandro Soul.
"This will be a great time," said Jack Hurley of the Mex 1 management team. "We're going to raffle off an awesome new surfboard and everyone can spin the wheel for free gifts." Sunday's menu will feature specialty tacos, local craft beers and fresh squeezed margaritas.
Hurley and his group also have two Jack's Cosmic Dog locations, one in Mt. Pleasant and the second on Folly Road.
