Don't miss the East Coast Premier of What If? Production's play Hearts Full of Blood. Written by James Asmus and first produced by their sister theatre, The New Colony in Chicago (Five Lesbians Eating A Quiche), Hearts Full of Blood is a shocking and often hilarious new work that the Chicago Tribune calls, 'a rather gripping little play about sex, relationships and a marriage with a secret.'
Hearts Full of Blood is a darkly comic tragedy featuring a perfect American couple and their seemingly impenetrable happiness – even as they struggle to conceive the child they want so desperately. But in trying to find a solution to this continual failure, they unearth the one shocking truth that can destroy everything upon which their perfect lives have been built.
Also starring What If? company member Beth Curley (Five Lesbians..., Hedwig & The Angry Inch), along with Darryl LaPlante and Tara Denton, this ensemble piece has a mind-blowing plot twist that will keep you on the edge of your seat long after the final curtain.
Hearts Full of Blood runs November 14th-18th at 84 1/2 Society Street (home of the Threshold Theatre). Tickets can be purchased online here or by calling 843.723.7334.
