Jill Eathorne Bahr’s cinematic take on the legendary Spanish-American hero Zorro will be making its world-premier at The Memminger Auditorium this March. The experience which is sure to be visually mesmerizing--the auditorium has been transformed into the world of 1870's Southern California with an epic spanish cityscape--seeks to revolutionize the modern theatrical ballet with a stunning sensory experience in this one of a kind dance performance.
Gallery seating will be adapted in the theatre to immerse the audience in the sights and sounds of neuvo flamenco and European latin rhythms to set the energetic and sensual mood of the ballet. Patrons will be in for a real treat as Hollywood stuntman Tim Bell (driver and stuntman in film and television from USA’s Burn Notice to the motion picture Transporter 2) will be choreographing the ballet’s extensive sword fighting throughout the show.
