On Tuesday, March 29, 2011, from 5:30-7:30 PM, Fish Restaurant will partner with the Alliance for Full Acceptance (AFFA) for Taylortini night, a celebration of the life of beloved icon Elizabeth Taylor.
Two-time Oscar winner Taylor was a champion of many charitable causes, her tireless work for AIDS research gave a familiar face to an unfamiliar disease. It was the death of her friend Rock Hudson that led her to these charitable endeavors. In 1991, Taylor established the Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation. The foundation funds AIDS organizations throughout the world.
One dollar from each of two “Taylortinis” created especially for the night will be donated to the Alliance For Full Acceptance. AFFA is a social justice organization achieving equality and acceptance for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender people.
