Barnes & Noble may be coming to King Street to replace the current management group at the College of Charleston Bookstore at 160 Calhoun Street. There has been no official announcement from The College of Charleston or Barnes & Noble, but according to reliable sources, the current management company, Follett Higher Education Group, may be replaced as early as February 2010.
Follett Higher Education Group manages more than 850 bookstores nationwide and provides management systems, support services and used textbooks.
Barnes & Noble College Booksellers operates more than 600 campus bookstores nationwide including Harvard, Yale, the University of Pennsylvania and the University of South Carolina.
