The wine, Vieux Telegraph 'Telegram' from the Rhone's Chateauneuf-du-Pape appelcation had a fabulously duplicitous character...and was a perfect accompaniment to my beef tenderloin, which was nicely charred on the outside and tender indeed on the inside.
