Circa Lighting Celebrates Recent Renovations at Design Walk

Join Circa Lighting during the Fall Design Walk on Thursday, October 18th from 5-8pm for a small reception celebrating their recent & nearly complete renovations. They've painted, added new sleek window displays, and hung their signature sliding doors to show twice as many wall fixtures. Fantastic storage for ceiling mounted fixtures, a new workstation, and lamp display tables were also added. Stop by to see what’s happening and enter their raffle for a gorgeous pair of lamps!

Upper King Fall 2012 Design Walk Reception at SieMatic

Stop by the SieMatic showroom on Thursday, October 18th from 5-8pm for the Upper King Design District Fall 2012 Design Walk Reception. Enjoy bites prepared by Fete Events and drinks provided by Cathead Vodka. Bladesmith Quintin Middleton of Middleton Made Knives will be on hand to discuss his knives. Siematic will also be raffling off a fabulous gift basket from the BB&T Charleston Wine+Food Festival. A meeting of CRAN (Custom Residential Architects Network) will follow the event.

Michael Mitchell Gallery hosts Opening Reception at Spring Design Walk

Michael Mitchell Gallery will host an opening reception for artists Debbie Martin and Susan Colwell for Upper King Design District's Spring Design Walk, Thursday April 19 from 5:00-8:00 PM. Michael Mitchell features the innovative artwork of over twenty regional artists in his gallery at 438 King Street. Join the Upper King Design District as they celebrate another Fall Design Walk October 20 at 5:00 PM. Here are just a few of the events you can enjoy...

- Modern Trousseau will host a reception featuring Callie Tein Designs, Roberto Coin Jewelry and Bob Ellis Shoes.  
- Seeking Indigo will celebrate their 2nd birthday with a party similar to their grand opening, which drew 1200 people.  
- SieMatic's Charleson Grand Opening at Design Walk was the best attended in the company's history, worldwide. 
- Michael Mitchell Gallery will host a reception featuring abstract-impressionist artist Susan Colwell.  
- Osteria la Bottiglia will feature handbag and home designs by Bottega Brandina Designer Marco Morosini at a Happy Hour reception.
- La Fourchette will host a Happy Hour Reception featuring artist Sybil Fix, founder and creator of The Terra Project. The Terra Project creates educational programs for children that use food to teach academic disciplines and explore social justice and environmental issues.

Charleston Style & Design Magazine presents The Design Elements of Michael Mitchell on Thursday, October 13th from 6-8pm at the Michael Mitchell Gallery. Charleston Style and Design Magazine is hosting interior designer Michael Mitchell as he expands his interior design business by adding mid-century antiques, modern and vintage furniture to the mix of local and regional artwork this Fall. He now also has the exclusives to Made Goods and Dwell Studio, two collections of modern home decor not found elsewhere in the region.

Haute Design Reception for Design Walk 5-8:00 PM

Haute Design's talented team of designers recently did two rooms at the beautiful Tides Condominiums on Charleston Harbour. Their team of ASID-certified designers have relationships with an array of award-winning area architects, builders and craftsmen, approaching each project individually, handpicking both the team and the materials.

Design Walk provides a great opportunity to meet the Haute Designers when they're not scurrying from job to job, and see some of their work. Their showroom is beautiful and they always have the best reception.
