Zak Collins is a Charleston-based photographer specializing in contemporary landscape. His work is heavily focused on the coastal and wetland regions of South Carolina. Both are very diverse with their own distinctive aesthetic; an aesthetic that is powerful, mysterious, and complex, characteristics he attempts to convey in his photographs.
There will be a reception for Zak's show, titled "Impermanent: A Collection of Photographs," on view through October 14th. Stop by The Art Mecca of Charleston for his opening show between 6:00-8:30pm on September 18th. Enjoy a lovely evening filled with art, live music, snacks, and light refreshments. This event is free and open to the public.
