Let the Fête Nationale festivities begin! Join fellow revelers and revolutionaries for the 5th Annual Bastille Day Celebration at Fish on Sunday, July 14, beginning at 4:30pm with entertainment kickoff at 5:00pm.
This year’s spirited salute features can-can dancers, French chanteuse performances and a costume contest - alongside traditional French fare, Pernod and Grand Marnier cocktails, and Chapuy Champagne specials. Mais oui! Just be sure to save room for cake; Marie Antoinette is rumored to be making her rounds.
Fish’s doors open at 4:30pm, but the celebration highlights will get under way at 5:00pm with the “Storming of the Bastille.” Local revolutionaries are encouraged to join this troupe of costumed performers in the march from Marion Square to Fish Restaurant, led by What If? Productions.
In Fish’s bar area and courtyard, guests enjoy cheese plates, charcuterie and mussels – as well as guillotine-sliced pommes frites (French fries) and freshly made crepes.
For dining room guests, Fish will offer a three-course, prix fixe dinner menu of traditional French fare for $40 per guest. Choose between two dishes for each course, with the option of adding French wine pairings for $50.
Dinner reservations are highly recommended and can be made by calling Fish directly at 843.722.3474. For more information about the Bastille Day Celebration, visit Fish Restaurant’s Facebook event page.
