Chef Ryan Kacenjar’s Saturday Farmers Market Menu at The Swamp Fox Restaurant is designed to utilize much of the seasonal produce available from the wonderful Charleston Farmer’s Market at Marion Square. The goal is to create a guest experience that will allow you to enjoy the bounties of the Lowcountry with dishes prepared with respect to the traditional ways of the South.
Pictured at left is Chef Kacenjar selecting zucchini from Joseph fields Farm 3129 River Road on Johns Island, a local organic produce farmer.
With this zucchini Chef Kacenjar served Prestige Farms Chicken Breast with dried currants , fresh peanuts and Carolina Gold Rice with sautéed organic zucchini served with honey glazed black skillet corn bread. Yummy!
The Cost of the Farmer’s Market Dinner is $30 per person plus tax and gratuity. Space is limited, so please call to reserve your table at (843) 724-8888. Substitutions from the Dining Room Menu are possible for those with dietary preferences or restrictions.
Seatings for this special menu are available after 5:00 PM Saturdays only. The Swamp Fox Restaurant is located at 387 King St.on the first floor of The Francis Marion Hotel, in the Upper King Design District, directly across the street from the Farmer’s Market at Marion Square.
