Charleston best-selling author Dorthea Benton Frank will launch her latest novel, Return to Sullivans Island, Tuesday, June 30 at 12:00 PM at The College of Charleston Bookstore. This is the longed-for sequel to her NY Times Best-Seller Sullivan's Island.

Born and raised on Sullivan's Island and a graduate of Bishop England High School, Frank is our favorite writer with lowcountry themes. Her other works include: Bulls Island, The Land of Mango Sunsets, The Christmas Pearl, Full of Grace, Pawley's Island, Isle of Palms, Shem Creek and Plantation.
Ms. Frank has appeared on NBC's Today Show, Parker Ladd's Book Talk and many local news outlets. A frequent speaker on creative writing and the creative process for students of all ages, she has also appeared at the National Arts Club, the Junior League of New York, Friends of the Library, the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and the Post & Courier's Charleston Book and Author event.
