St. Matthews Lutheran Church , 405 King Street in the Upper King Design District, will host two Piccolo Spoleto events. The first program will be the Festival of Churches featuring the St. Matthews Gallery Choir with
two, free, one-hour performances, Sunday May 24 at 8:30 and 11:00 AM.
And, on Wednesday June 3, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, they will host a free performance by Michael Ging in the L'Organo Recital Series. Michael Ging is a Charleston native and is currently studying with Jack Mitchener at the Oberlin College Conservatory of Music. The program features works of Bach, Sweelinck, Mendelssohn, Franck, Locklair and Guilmant.
