About the image: This old house sits on its own rocky island in Penneseewassee Lake, Norway, Maine. The island is accessible by boat during summer months, and by car in the winter when the lake freezes over. The house has been the family for generations, largely unchanged, telling each inhabitant and guest its stories of the past.
